Job Description
- Wash and put away all customer and kitchen dishes
- Bus tables, wipe them down, and sweep as needed throughout the day
- Clear full bussing carts and replace
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas including, but not limited to: the dishwasher area, dining room, kitchen, back storage room, and bathrooms.
- Assist cooks and prep workers if needed.
- Mopping / Sweeping / Wiping down of all equipment, shelving, and counters.
- Must maintain an Oregon Food Handler’s Card
Skills Required
- Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Physically able to work on their feet for long hours and move quickly when needed
- Able to follow verbal instruction and communicate effectively
Compensation
- All dishwashers earn minimum wage plus their portion of tips that are divided between front and back of house. Dishwashers can expect to earn an average of $15-$16 per hour combined with their reported paycheck tips.
